My friend Jeremy is trying to get on SSI or Disability because of his health & he was turned down yesterday. He is depressed over this and I can understand that, but he really needs prayers. Will you please pray God will open the door for him to get the help he needs to get on some kind of financial aid. Thanks
 
Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend Jeremy to you. We thank you for his life and for the love and care you have for him. We acknowledge that you are the ultimate provider and that you have the power to open doors and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we pray specifically for Jeremy's situation regarding his application for SSI or Disability. We ask that you would intervene on his behalf and grant him favor in the eyes of those who make the decisions. We pray that you would touch the hearts of those involved and guide them to see the genuine need and the challenges Jeremy is facing due to his health.

Your Word reminds us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." We stand on this promise, believing that as we ask in faith, you will answer our prayers according to your perfect will.

Lord, we also lift up Jeremy's spirit to you. We pray that you would comfort him in his disappointment and depression. Fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind him of your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help him to trust in your provision and to find hope in you, knowing that you are working all things together for his good.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your infinite wisdom. May your will be done in Jeremy's life, and may he experience your abundant blessings and provision.
