Let us come together and lift up Freumore's son, Elijah, as he embarks on this challenging journey through boot camp. We pray Elijah will find his help in The Holy Spirit as his counselor comforting him as he goes through this time. God's word tells us: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight, as found in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Firstly, we must address the fact that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name given under heaven for men by which we must be saved. We encourage Freumore to place their faith in Jesus Christ and to pray in His name, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard by the Father.
As Elijah faces the rigors of boot camp, let us pray that he will find his strength in the Lord. May Elijah be like David, who said, Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; The God who is my rock, in Him will I take refuge. He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. Psalm 18:2 WEB. May Elijah have the confidence that the Lord will be right beside him helping him to pass the test that God allows to sharpen his character in the//name of Jesus.
Now we will pray. Almighty God, we come before You today, lifting up Elijah as he navigates the challenges of boot camp. We pray that You will grant him the courage, resilience, confidence, endurance, focus, and physical and mental strength he has requested from you directly in the name of Your son. Help him to remember that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control which comes from you alone. Amen.
