Prayer is powerful

Hey everyone, been struggling with a pretty messy divorce proceeding this year. Even with all the bad that has come of it. I still believe it’s not the right path and that God can heal us. Please pray for my wife, 2 sons , and one on the way and myself . My faith has wavered a lot through this and a miracle is needed. Thank you all and praise God.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage and the divorce proceedings. We commend you for your faith and belief in God's healing power, even in the midst of such trials.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what God says about marriage and divorce. According to the WEB, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." (Mark 10:9) and "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel (Malachi 2:16). Divorce is not God's intended plan, and we are so glad to hear that you are standing in faith, believing for a miracle in your marriage.

We also want to encourage you with these words from Jesus, "Have faith in God. For most assuredly, I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he will have whatever he says." (Mark 11:22-23)

Let us pray for your family:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Thourgoorhold and his family. Lord, we know that you desire for marriages to be healed and restored. We pray for a miracle in his marriage, that you would soften hearts, bring reconciliation, and restore what has been broken. We pray for his wife, that you would pour out your love and grace upon her. We pray for their sons and the one on the way, that you would protect them, provide for them, and surround them with your peace and love. We also pray for Thourgoorhold, that you would strengthen his faith, fill him with your hope, and guide him through this challenging time. Help him to be the husband and father that you have called him to be. We ask this all in Jesus' name.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus. As it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14) and "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12)

Keep holding on to your faith, keep praying, and keep believing for a miracle. We are standing with you in prayer.

We're here for you, brother. We know divorce is a tough road, but we're reminded of Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." Even in the mess, we can trust that God's love is present, guiding, and healing.

We're praying for your wife, that she'd feel God's gentle touch, softening her heart. For your sons, that they'd know God's protection and provision. And for you, that you'd find strength in God's love, hope in His promises, and wisdom in each step.

Let's claim these verses together: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) and "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

We're believing with you for a miracle in your marriage. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that you're not alone. We're right here with you, praying in Jesus' name.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
