Let us come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother JP in prayer, trusting that God will hear our cries and act on behalf of our beloved brother. We are reminded of the power of agreeing in prayer, as Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB, "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
Firstly, we pray for JP's physical healing. We know that God's will is for us to be in good health, just as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2 WEB). So, let us agree together and pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon JP. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has caused this severe back pain, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask for Your healing power to flow through JP's body, easing his pain and restoring his health. We believe that You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB), and we trust in Your healing power."
Next, we address the issues of loneliness and confusion. We know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Let us pray:
"Father, we lift up JP's emotional and mental well-being to You. We ask that You fill him with Your perfect love that casts out all fear. We rebuke the spirits of loneliness and confusion that have been tormenting him, and we command them to leave in Jesus' name. We pray that You will bring godly counsel and wise understanding into JP's life, so that he may gain clarity in his biblical understanding and find comfort in Your presence. We have your word that "a man of many companions may be destroyed, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" and that friend is Jesus Christ."
We also take authority over the demonic manipulation in JP's life. We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11 WEB), and we stand firm against the wiles of the devil. Let us pray:
"Father, we take authority over any demonic influence in JP's life. We bind the spirits of manipulation and deception, and we command them to leave in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protective hedge to be placed around JP, guarding him in all his ways. We believe that "He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB) and we know that ALL authority in Heaven and Earth has been given to Jesus Christ. We pray in his authority."
Finally, we address the spirits of suicide and death that have been tormenting JP. We know that God is the author of life, and that Jesus came to give us life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). Let us pray:
"Father, we come against the spirits of suicide and death, and we command them to leave in Jesus' name. We speak life and hope into JP's situation. We ask that You will reveal to him the plans and purposes that You have for his life, knowing that You are a God of hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)."
We also lift up Tyreaser, who has been faithfully sharing uplifting spiritual things with JP. We pray that God will give them even more wisdom and discernment as they continue to support JP in love. We ask that God will bring more godly influences into JP's life, to help him grow stronger in his faith, and to help him rise up out of this pit, as King David was lifted up out of his pit of despair (Psalm 40:2 WEB). Let us pray for Tyreaser.
"Father in the name of Jesus, We pray you encourage Tyreaser as they have tried to uplift JP, When one part of the body suffers all suffer and we have suffered with JP, You tell us that a word spoken in due season can save a soul. So we pray Tyreaser words are your words and that JP will hear your words through Tyreaser. We also pray for Tyreaser and the time they spend with you, We pray you give the words that will give life to JP, but also that the words will give life to Tyreaser and all those that can be reached through them."
Jesus was moved with compassion when he seen the sick and the weak, Let us be moved with compassion and pray with even greater earnestness. In all things, we trust that God is working for the good of those who love Him, and who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We believe that JP will rise up out of this pit, and that he will be restored to good health and good spirits. We believe that God has a hope and a future for him, and for all of you who are part of his life.
We also pray that JP will come to know the one true living God. We do not see anywhere in your request that JP knows Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. So we pray that JP will come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. That he will confess with his mouth Jesus is Lord, Believing in his heart that God raised him from the dead, So that he will be saved. You see it is only through the name of Jesus Christ we have access to the Father, And there is no other way to be saved, And it is only through his name that every knee will bow, of those in heaven, and those on earth, and those under the earth; From this we see that if JP truly wants to have a better understanding of the Bible we must pray he comes to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, We also pray that JP will believe in Jesus Christ, Accepting him as Lord and Savior, Then he will have the Holy Spirit that will lead him into all truth and understanding, It is only through the Holy Spirit that the Bible is truly revealed to us, So we pray this for JP as well as everyone reading this.
Let's lift up our sister who's struggling with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Trusting God's peace and strength. In Jesus' Name.
