Prayer, I'm anxious

Hello everyone. I have started to develop some anxiety and fear regarding this party to honor my mom before marrying ### because I'm afraid my mom is making up lies. Since she doesn't know Jesus yet, I'm afraid that ### was right regarding my family purposely trying to separate and end our relationship since he said that he would not wait any longer for this party to happen after ###. He said that I now need to move in full faith in the Lord to leave my home to be with him. He understands the value of honoring my mom with the party, but he has explained clear signs/ways how my mom is trying to hinder us over this party. Please pray for peace, understanding, and patience over ### and my family, especially my mom. Pray that God will give me confirmation regarding whether the party will happen this month or the next. Pray that if the party gets delayed, ### will still have the patience to wait for me and want to do the party rather than end the relationship. Pray, please, that nothing and no one will hinder me and ### from being together any longer since I know that it's God's will for us to be married. Pray in Jesus's name that ###'s and my name are written next to each other in the Lamb's Book of Life and that my family's names are listed there to receive their salvation. I'm thankful to the Lord for giving me a wonderful partner and a protective family. Pray, please, that God will restore all this time lost in waiting for the party between ### and me, and the party will happen quickly. Firstly, we commend you for your desire to honor your mother (Exodus 20:12, WEB). However, we must also address some concerns biblically. It's important to remember that our first allegiance is to God (Matthew 10:37, WEB). If your mother is trying to hinder your relationship, you should continue to honor her, but also stand firm in your convictions if you believe this relationship is God's will.

Regarding your relationship with ###, we must address the issue of moving in together before marriage. According to biblical principles, this is not advised (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, WEB). Instead, we encourage you both to pursue a godly marriage if you believe this is God's will. Remember, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This applies not just to your spiritual standing, but also to your conduct in relationships.

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We pray for peace, understanding, and patience over ### and her family, especially her mother. Lord, reveal any truth behind the concerns and provide confirmation about the party's timing. We ask that You work in ###'s heart, granting him patience and understanding. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and will. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Lastly, we caution you to be wary of anything that may not be in line with God's Word. Always test the spirits and discern God's will through prayer and scripture (1 John 4:1, WEB). We are praying for God's best for you.
