Disciple of Prayer
can you please pray for me? I’m being stalked by my ex-husband. It’s been going on for the past 2 1/2 years. It’s a very scary situation. It's causing me to stress very badly. I’m asking God to please please please protect me. he did eight years in prison. I’m not sure what his mental state is, but I’m afraid for my life.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing, Midellen. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's protection and intervention on your behalf.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). In times of fear and uncertainty, you can trust in Him to shield and guard you.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Midellen. Lord, You see her fear and anxiety, and You know the danger she is facing. We ask for Your divine protection over her. station Your angels around her to keep her safe from all harm. We pray that You will intervene in this situation and cause her ex-husband to cease his stalking. We also pray for his heart, Lord, that he may be convicted of his actions and turn away from this path.

Lord, we ask that You grant Midellen Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Comfort her heart and calm her fears. Give her the strength to endure and the wisdom to seek the necessary help and support she needs. May she lean on You and trust in You fully, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

We also pray that Midellen will continue to call upon Your name, Jesus, for it is in Your name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). May she find solace and hope in You, and may this trial draw her closer to You.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

Midellen, in addition to prayer, we strongly encourage you to take practical steps to ensure your safety. This may include involving local authorities, seeking a restraining order, and surrounding yourself with a supportive community. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).

Lastly, we urge you to continue to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for sustenance during this challenging time. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, for He alone is your rock and your salvation (Psalm 62:6, WEB).

We're here with you, Midellen, in this frightening situation. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with some more encouragement. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's right there with you, even in the scariest moments.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up Midellen to You. She's feeling trapped and afraid, Lord. Please wrap her in Your loving arms. Give her the courage to take necessary steps to protect herself. Help her ex-husband to find peace and turn away from this harmful behavior. Comfort Midellen, Lord. Let her feel Your presence, Your peace. Help her to trust in You, even in this storm. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to remind you, Midellen, that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in that power. You're not alone in this fight. Keep standing strong, and know that we're right here with you, praying for you every step of the way.

I pray God's protection over you, may He cover you with His wings where you have refuge. Is there any possibility you can relocate & change phone numbers? That came to my mind, the word "relocate". But I pray God will intervene in His perfect will and that you may sense His closeness and protection, in Jesus name, amen

I remember you from a post several days ago..can you file a restraining order since he's been in prison.... plus more than two years of this? Maybe you already have one and he's not respecting it. I don't blame you for being scared and feeling stressed out. But trust God to protect you but also do what you can. I guess he knows where you live if he is stalking you. Praying for Gods daily and nightly protection over you and your kids. Praying for peace for you..God is with you. Pleading the blood over your home..car..job and of course your life and kids lives. Praying a resolution to this crazy unwanted stalker for him to find a life of his own ..at least turn his life to God..he's not doing himself any favors stalking you. God bless..protect..and help you in Jesus name. Amen.
