Let's come together in prayer and support for this sister in Christ and her grandson. We trust in the healing power of Jesus and are moved by the compassion He has for each of us, especially in times of trial.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
and in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We are concerned that the initial prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus. We know that it is never too late to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Believe that He died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead by the Father, confess your sins and repent, and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Now, let us address the concerns of the request. We stand in agreement for healing and a full recovery for this beloved wife and grandmother. We pray that the medical tests will reveal the root cause of her pain and the issue with her heart, and that the doctors will have the wisdom to administer the appropriate treatment.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ and her grandson. We thank You for Your healing power and Your unfailing love for us. Lord, we ask that You touch her body and heal her from any pain and discomfort. We pray for the doctors, that You would guide their hands and grant them wisdom in treating her condition. We also ask that You watch over her grandson, keeping him safe and healthy.
Father, we also pray for their family, that You would surround them with Your peace and comfort during this time. We ask that You strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness trying to operate in her body. We declare in faith that, as written in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB:
"who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed."
Lord, we believe that by Your stripes, she is healed. We claim her healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage the family to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that He cares for them. We encourage them to read and meditate on the promises of God found in His Word, such as Psalm 103:2-3 WEB:
"Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,"
Lastly, we encourage both the husband and wife to support each other, love one another and be patient. As written in 1 Peter 3:7 WEB:
"You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."
We know that God has the power to heal and restore, and we stand in faith, believing for a full recovery.
