We are truly sorry to hear about your suffering and we are here to intercede on your behalf. We know that God is our healer and that He cares about our suffering. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB it says Bless Yahweh, my soul, Do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.
We also know that He is moved by our prayers and that He hears us when we call out to Him. In the book of James, it says, Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:13-16 WEB
We also note that you did not mention the name above all names, Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we can come boldly before the throne of God. In John 14:6 WEB it says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Therefore, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ and call on His name.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is suffering from this sinus infection and flu. We ask, Lord, that You touch his/her body and heal him/her from this sickness. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We thank You, Lord, that You are our healer and that You are moved by our prayers. We trust in Your promise that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and we stand on that promise today.
Lord, we also pray that our friend will come to know Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior. We ask that You draw him/her to Yourself and that You reveal Your love and grace to him/her. We thank You, Lord, that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
