We are truly saddened to hear about the spiritual bondage that your loved one has been under for so many years, and we commend you for your faithfulness in praying for them. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to open their eyes and set them free from the deceptions of the enemy.
Let us remember that Jesus said, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32 WEB)
Prayer:
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, standing in agreement with our fellow believer. Lord, You are the truth and the light, and we ask that You shine Your light into the darkness that has blinded this beloved one. Open his eyes to see the truth of Your word and the love of Jesus Christ. Break the chains of deception and set him free from the grip of the cult and the enemy's lies. Grant him faith to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.
We also lift up our fellow believer, who has been faithfully interceding for her loved one. Lord, strengthen her and protect her from the attacks of the enemy. Equip her with Your full armor, so that she may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy and command him to flee. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 WEB)
Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that both of them would walk in the truth, in the light, and in the freedom that Jesus Christ has bought for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear believer, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. (James 5:16 WEB)
Continue steadfastly in prayer, remembering that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
Stand strong in the Lord, and trust in His promises. "So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'" (Hebrews 13:6 WEB)
We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing God for a miracle.
