We are truly sorry to hear about the suffering from Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR TB) and the side effects of the medicine, including pain and peripheral neuropathy in the legs, which are causing sleepless nights. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort.
Firstly, we remember that God is our healer and comforter. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for you, trusting that God can heal any disease, including MDR TB and its side effects.
We also take heart from the story of Job recorded in the Bible. Job suffered greatly with physical ailments, but he remained faithful to God. In his trial, Job cried out, "My soul is weary of my life; I give free course to my complaint; I speak in the bitterness of my soul. I tell God, my Father, and praise him, the Father of all, Whom even the angels praise." (Job 13:1-2)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and comfort for this dear one suffering from MDR TB and its side effects. You are the Great Physician, and we trust that You can heal any disease. Please touch this person's legs, ease the pain, and reverse the peripheral neuropathy. Grant them peaceful nights of sleep and restore their health.
In the midst of this trial, draw them closer to You. Strengthen their faith and help them to endure like Job, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. Give them a patient and steadfast spirit, and surround them with Your love and peace.
We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals treating this dear one. Give them wisdom and guidance as they administer care and seek the best treatments.
Lastly, we were not sure if you believe in Jesus Christ or not. We must make sure to inform you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We must believe in Jesus Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in His love and faithfulness, and may the words of Psalm 23:4 (WEB) be a comfort to you: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
We will continue to pray for your healing and for God's strength to sustain you. Be encouraged and take heart, for God is always working for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28) (WEB)
