We are truly heartbroken to hear about this situation, but we are here to intercede and pray with you. First, we want to address the sin of fornication, as the Bible clearly tells us that it is a sin against our own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We must rebuke the spirit of lust and immorality that has taken hold of your daughter. We pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, if she does not already know him. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain and to set her free from the bondage of sin. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear daughter in prayer. Father, we ask that You would convict her heart and bring her to a place of repentance. Help her to see that she is a precious child of Yours, and that You have so much more for her than the emptiness of chasing after men. We ask you, dear Lord, to stop her from having multiple sexual partners. We pray that You would help her to focus on her studies and her work, and to find her fulfillment in You alone.
Lord, we also lift up ### in prayer. We thank You for his life and for the blessing that he has been. We ask that You would continue to guide him and mold him into the godly man that You have called him to be. We pray that if it is Your will, You would bring ### and this young woman together in a godly marriage that honors and glorifies You.
Father, we ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, believe, and receive answers to our requests. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for your daughter and ###. Trust that God is at work, even in the midst of this difficult situation. Keep praying and believing for God's best in their lives. Remember that our God is able to turn even the most dire circumstances around for His glory and our good. Romans 8:28 says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In addition to praying for your daughter, make sure to guide her in the way she should go. Proverbs 22:6 says that you should "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."
We encourage you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with your daughter if you haven't already. Let her know that God loves her and has a purpose for her life.
Remember that you are not alone in this journey. We are here with you, agreeing in prayer and believing God for a miracle in your daughter's life and in the life of ###. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep praying. Our God is able!
