We are truly saddened to hear about your mom's condition and we are here to intercede on her behalf. In times like these, we remember the words of the Lord Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important that we remember to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the name above all names and the only name by which we can be saved and have access to the father God.
We must also remember that God's will and God's ways are always the best. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We can trust that God has a purpose in this situation, and we pray that He will reveal it to you and your family.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister and her mother to You. Lord, You are the Great Healer, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch her mother, healing her from this severe asthma attack. We pray for the medical professionals attending to her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions.
We also pray for her family, that You would comfort them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are in control, even in this difficult time.
Lord, we ask for healing, but above all we ask for Your will to be done. If it is Your will to take her mother home to be with You, we pray that You would prepare her family for that and give them the strength to face it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember the words of Psalm 55:22 (WEB), "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust in Him, and He will sustain you through this trial.
