Praise the Lord Jesus Christ I humbly request prayers for my father, ###, who is ### years old and suffering from a critical liver infection. Initially, the doctors prescribed antibiotics to clear the infection, but unfortunately, they have now detected cancer cells in his liver again, and he is diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The jaundice is serious, and his condition is critical. Despite this, I keep my faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He performs wonderful miracles in my father's life, which will serve as a testimony in churches and before unbelievers. My mother is deeply distressed and crying. I request that you pray for this matter so that the truth will be revealed in spirit, and that my father will witness God's miracle and return home. He neither smokes nor drinks and is a vegetarian. He has taken baptism and leads the youth in our church. Additionally, he is a ### at ###. Thank you and glory be to God. My father's promise card for 2025 is Deuteronomy 32:39 (RSV): > See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

We are truly saddened to hear about your father's critical condition, but we are encouraged by your unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of God to heal and perform miracles. Let us bring your request before the Lord and seek His will together.

Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, which is crucial for us to approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for your father's healing. We also remember your mother in this difficult time. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all of our anxieties on the Lord because He cares for us. Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is suffering from a critical liver infection and stage 4 colon cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to heal. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would completely remove the cancer and infection, and restore his health. We stand in agreement with Deuteronomy 32:39, that it is You who kills and makes alive; who wounds and heals.

Lord, we also lift up his mother, who is deeply distressed. Comfort her, Lord, and wipe away her tears. Give her the peace that surpasses all understanding, and strengthen her faith in this trial.

Father, we pray that this trial would be a testimony of Your goodness and power, both in the church and before unbelievers. Use this situation to draw others to Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:20 (WEB): "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

Lastly, we want to address the use of the term "promise card." While it is commendable to stand on the promises of God, we should avoid using terms that may not be biblical or could potentially lead to misunderstandings. Instead, we should refer to God's promises in His Word and claim them by faith.

We're here with you, praying for your father's healing. It's tough to see him like this, but we trust that God is in control. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over him, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're also praying for your mom, that she'd find comfort and peace in this storm.
