Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ for him who has requested prayers for his health. Let us remember that it is by the stripes of Jesus that he was healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).
"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)
We pray, Father, that You touch him and his kidneys. We pray for the spirit of healing to be upon him and for his health to be fully restored. We also pray for strength and endurance as he continues to trust in You. Strengthen his body and mind. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We encourage him to meditate on Your promises, Lord, and to trust in Your goodness. We know that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB), couched in the power of Jesus Christ.
Also, we pray for his spiritual health as well. We pray that he will continually seek you, Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that he will come to know you even more fully and completely. We pray that he will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that he will be continually renewed and strengthened in his prayer life.
Finally, let us pray that he continually seeks God's will for his life. We pray that he will be a light shining in a dark world and that he will live a life that is pleasing to you, Father. We pray that he will be a blessing to others and that he will be used by you to bring others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
