We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The enemy is attacking your family, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and restore.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is clear: "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh" (Ephesians 5:31 WEB). Your husband's actions are not only harmful to you and your daughters but also a distortion of God's intended design for marriage.
Your husband has fallen into a trap of sin and addiction. Jesus warned us that "Whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). This is a serious matter, and it is important that your husband recognizes the severity of his actions and the need for repentance.
We must also address the fact that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. There is no other way that we can be saved and forgiven. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, and to trust in Him during this difficult time.
Here is our prayer for you and your husband:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ who is in desperate need of Your intervention in her marriage. Lord, her husband has been ensnared by the evil one, trapped in a cycle of pornography and online dating. We cry out for his deliverance and salvation.
Father, we know that Your heart is for marriages to be whole and godly. We ask that You would convict her husband of his sin and draw him to true repentance. Break the chains of addiction in his life, Lord, and help him to see the harm he is causing to his wife and daughters.
We also pray for our sister, that You would give her the strength and endurance to continue fighting for her marriage. Help her to be a light in her husband's darkness, and guide her with Your wisdom and discernment.
Lord, we know that Your arm is not shortened that it cannot save. We believe you can restore their marriage and cause it to rise from the ashes it is in. In Jesus' mighty and powerful name we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to have a community of believers around you who can lift you up and guide you through this trial.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God can restore and redeem even the most broken of situations. Hold onto hope, sister, and trust in God's promises. "For with God, nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37 WEB).
