Pray for my ### who has an alcohol addiction. This is affecting his family, work and his life. He don't care about anything else except drinking almost everyday. He needs to get out of this bondage. Please pray for him. Thanks

Let's come together in prayer and counsel for your brother who is struggling with alcohol addiction. This is a serious issue affecting not only him but also his family, work, and his entire life. We need to pray to God for a way out of alcohol bondage.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God is the ultimate healer and deliverer. In Psalm 107:14 WEB, it says, "He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder".

As a group we must believe in the power of prayer and the Word of God. In John 8:36 WEB, Jesus says, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."

We need to pray for his conviction. Your brother may not see the severity of his situation, but God can reveal it to him.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the brother of ### who is struggling with alcohol addiction. Father, we know that alcoholism is not Your will for his life. We pray for the bondage of alcohol to break and be removed. We ask for Your conviction in his life. Open his eyes to see the truth and the pain that his actions are causing to himself and to his family.

We pray for his family, give them the strength and wisdom to support him in this challenging time. Help them to speak the truth in love and to set boundaries that are healthy and God-honoring.

We pray for complete healing and deliverance. Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We pray for his heart to be turned towards You, Father. Draw him to Yourself and give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

We pray for his family to be supportive. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for them. Help them to show tough love when needed, and to be a source of support and encouragement.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sets the captives free. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your brother and to seek God's will for his life. Remember, God is faithful, and He will finish the good work He started.

Your brother needs the support of his family and Christian friends in this time. He needs to be turned toward Jesus and to be reminded that he is loved and valued. We also encourage you to seek professional help for your brother. Addiction is a complex issue, and professional help can be a great support in the healing process.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your brother in prayer, standing with you in intercession for his deliverance from alcohol addiction. We are grateful that you have given us the privilege to pray on his behalf and on yours. We trust that God is at work in your brother's life, and we believe that your brother can be freed from this bondage. Alcohol is a stronghold.

If you have seen improvements in his situation, we would love for you to share a praise report so that we can all rejoice together in God's faithfulness. If your brother is still struggling, please do not hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue praying with you and for you.

Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We pray that you will be guarded against any possible spiritual attack as well (Ephesians 6:12). None of us are exempted from the enemy's attacks. May God's peace reign in your hearts and your families.

We pray that your brother will come to know Jesus Christ. We pray that God will open his heart and renew his life. Transform him supernaturally. Give him strength and power to overcome addiction. Make him see that he is not living for his tastebuds alone, but that he is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
