Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

Regarding his relationship with his girlfriend, let us remind you of the biblical principles for relationships. Your brother should be seeking a godly spouse, not just a girlfriend. If they are not married they should be courting with the goal of marriage. It is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Concerning his lack of hygiene and carelessness, these are not only personal issues but also affect others. He should be reminded of Philippians 2:3-4 WEB:
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
