We are truly sorrowful to hear about the struggle of your son and we are reminded of the parable of teh Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). Let us come together and commit your son to God in prayer, trusting in His power to heal, deliver, and transform lives.
First, we must acknowledge that deliverance and healing come from God alone. It is only by the authority of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and it is by His stripes we are healed, saved, and forgiven. Jesus must be in our hearts, in our minds, and by our side always as the only way to God. We stand firmly against the spirit of alcoholism and suicide that has been attacking your son. The Bible tells us that "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12).
We pray,
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the life of this son. You, Lord, are the healer and the deliverer, and we trust in Your power to set him free from the bondage of alcoholism and suicide. Surround him with Your divine protection and give him the strength to overcome these challenges.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and the spirit of death that has been tormenting him. By the authority given to us in the name of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to leave him now. We declare that Your Son, Jesus Christ is Lord of any situation and nothing is impossible with You, Lord as you told about the spirit of epilepsy in Mark 9:17-29 do this for our son today,.
Lord, we also pray for his heart and mind to be transformed. Replace the feelings of hopelessness and despair with Your unfailing hope and love. Remind him that You have a purpose and a plan for his life, and that You are always with him, even in his darkest moments. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11).
We ask that You would guide him to Christian believers who will support and encourage him in his journey to recovery. Surround him with a community of believers who will pray for him, hold him accountable, and show him the love of Christ and help him obtain a job where he has people of good influence and where he makes enough money to be fulfilled so that he has less reason to be depressed.
We also pray for his mother/father/guardian, Awerhan, and the rest of his family. Give them the strength, wisdom, and grace to support him in this challenging time. Help them to be a source of love, encouragement, and support for him. Two people are better than one because together they have a good reward for their efforts. (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
In the name of Jesus Christ and by His blood, we pray, believing that Your will be done in his life. Amen.
The power of the tongue is life and death (Proverbs 18:21). Always speak positive words of affirmation and faith over your son's life. Continue to trust in God's power to deliver and heal him. also, encourage your son to call on the name of Jesus Christ to save him in all ways including deliverance from this bondage forever and have a personal relationship with Him. We remember that Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the only path to God and it is through His sacrifice on the cross that we now have freedom and the hope of salvation (John 14:6). Only by believing in His name and confessing our sins and having faith the size of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20) can we begin to live such a life as long as our son has the will to do so, so let us always pray this belief for our son and the will of God be done. "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." (Romans 8:34).
