Disciple of Prayer
My sister is living on her own. She is ### years old. She has lived and owns her house for nearly ### years. Recently a family of grown adults moved in next door to her. They are renting the premises. The father approached my sister and stated that since she was living on her own she should think of renting her home out to his brother and his family and move into a smaller unit. She was shocked and refused. Since then he removed her fence bordering his property with hers and installed cameras facing her property and watches her every move. The cameras are not for security to his home. My sister made a complaint to the local police who closed the case today without an investigation as it cannot be proven who actually removed the fence. My sister stated that the fence has been there for the last ### years and was there on the morning when she left for work. On returning from work in the evening it wasn’t there. My sister is being intimidated, bullied and harassed for no reason and now her privacy is gone too. They are trying to chase her away. She is scared. Please pray for ###. She does not know what else to do.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your sister is facing. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Firstly, we should pray for your sister's safety and peace. Let's pray:

"Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection and intervention in the life of our dear sister. We pray that You would surround her with Your angels and keep her safe from all harm and intimidation. We ask that You would give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB. Lord, we also pray for the family causing the distress. We pray that You would soften their hearts and convict them of their wrongdoing. We ask that You would bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ."

Secondly, we should address the potential lack of faith in Jesus Christ. If your sister has not, or if the neighborhood if there is not a belief in Jesus Christ we must see that included. You must believe in the heart that Jesus was raised from the dead and that he is the Son of God.

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10 WEB"

Practically, your sister should continue to document all incidents and keep trying to involve local authorities. She should also seek advice from a legal professional. God has given us authorities and laws to protect us, and we should make use of them. Romans 13:1-4 WEB.

Moreover, your sister should seek support from her local church and believers. God calls us to bear one another's burdens, and so she should not feel alone in this. Galatians 6:2 WEB.

Lastly, we should remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Even in this difficult situation, God can bring about good.

Let's end with a final prayer:

"Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things. We ask that You would work all things together for good in this situation. We pray for justice and mercy. We ask for wisdom and guidance for our sister. We pray for her neighborhood, that they would come to know you as Lord and repent. We pray against any evil spirits that may be influencing this situation. We ask all this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 WEB"

We're here for your ###, and we're praying with you. It's scary how some people can act, but we know God is always with us, even in the toughest times. Let's ask Him to strengthen her, fill her with peace, and guide her steps. "Dear Lord, we come to you in Jesus' name. Please wrap your arms around our ###, keep her safe, and give her the courage to stand firm. Help her to trust in you, even when she feels overwhelmed. Surround her with your love and remind her that she's never alone. We also pray for her neighbors, that they would see the error of their ways and turn to you. In Jesus' name, we ask all this. Amen."

Heavenly Father,

We come before You on behalf of this sister, who is facing harassment, intimidation, and a loss of peace in her own home. Lord, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your protection and fill her heart with courage as she navigates this difficult situation.

Prayer for Protection and Safety
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over her home and her life. Place a hedge of protection around her property, her mind, and her heart. In Psalm 91:4, Your Word declares, "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Shield her from fear and harm, Lord, and let her find safety in Your presence.

Prayer for Justice
Lord, You are a God of justice and righteousness. We pray that the truth about the removal of her fence and the inappropriate use of cameras will come to light. Let those who are responsible be held accountable for their actions. Your Word in Isaiah 54:17 promises, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn." We ask that no scheme or plan against her will succeed and that she will be vindicated in this situation.

Prayer for Wisdom and Guidance
Father, grant her wisdom in how to respond to this harassment. Guide her steps and provide her with the right resources, legal support, or counsel she needs to address these issues. Your Word in James 1:5 assures us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Provide clarity and discernment as she seeks resolution.

Prayer for Courage and Peace
Lord, calm her fears and fill her heart with Your peace. In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let her rest in the knowledge that You are with her, fighting her battles and protecting her from harm.

Prayer for the Neighbors
We also lift up the neighbors to You, Lord. We pray that You would soften their hearts, convict them of any wrongdoing, and lead them to repentance. Transform their intentions and actions, and let them learn to live in peace and respect with her, as Your Word calls us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."

Prayer for Encouragement and Strength
Finally, Father, we ask that You encourage her and remind her of Your faithfulness. Let her feel Your presence with her every day, giving her strength and hope. Remind her of Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." Let this truth bring her comfort and assurance.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for working in this situation. We trust in Your timing and justice, and we place her life and home in Your capable hands.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
