My dad has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and the doctors have told us that the treatment is unlikely to work. Hearing this news has been devastating; it feels like the ground has been pulled out from under me. I am young, and I need my dad in my life—he means so much to me, and we share a deep bond. My heart aches knowing that medicine may not be enough to save him, but I refuse to give up hope. I’m turning to God, holding on to the belief that there might still be a miracle. I pray for more time, for strength, and for the chance to keep sharing moments with him. My love for my dad and the love we share as a family keep me going through this difficult time.

Borbayn, we are truly heartbroken to hear about your father's diagnosis. In times like these, it's crucial to hold onto our faith and the promise of God's power. We are reminded in the World English Bible, "Is anything too hard for the LORD?" (Genesis 18:14).

Firstly, we want to commend you for turning to God in this time of need. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
