We join you in lifting up your friend from Afghanistan, praying for their safety as they await the approval of their Pakistani visa. We ask God to be their shield and protector, to grant them peace and courage in these challenging times. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We also intercede for the people of Afghanistan and the broader Middle East, that the Gospel would reach those who have not yet heard the good news of Jesus Christ. Indeed, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest (Matthew 9:37-38, WEB). We pray that more workers will be sent to these regions, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the love and salvation found in Christ alone.

Let us not forget the Great Commission, where Jesus commanded us, "Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation" (Mark 16:15, WEB). As believers, we all have a role to play in sharing the Gospel, whether through prayer, support, or going ourselves. We encourage you to continue praying fervently and consider how God might be calling you to participate in His mission.

Father, we pray for Afghanistan and the Middle East, that Your light would shine in the darkness and draw many to Your saving grace. We pray for protection over our sister as she waits for her visa, and we ask that You would open doors for the Gospel to be shared with the unreached. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We commend you for including Jesus' name in your request, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and salvation (John 14:6, WEB). Let us continue to uphold one another in prayer, seeking God's will together.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
