PRAYER FOR ###

In the name of Jesus, I would like to request prayer for healing, in this family and others. We're in need of prayer for my grandson, he was being helped by my son, for some months, he has ADHD, age ### yrs old, won't stay in school, can't get employed, can't get along with family well, including parents and grandparents, we all try our best to do good for and with him. We know he wants to run the streets, with his so-called friends, to ruin his own life. And we're trying to not let it happen. He will be 18 yrs old in July, has younger siblings. And he is so mean to them, most of the time, have to separate him from around them, that's part of him not being here, besides disrespecting me and husband, which are the grandparents. The mother is my daughter, married with a stepdad, and they are disrespected, also. Meanwhile, his dad, is in prison, lost his other grandmother, which is his dad's mother, 2 yrs ago, and he has a lot on his little mind, we really feel for him, and has always been there, for him, but in the name of Jesus, we pray for change. We pray for better days, being retired, and has raised all our kids, and trying to be there for the grands, when needed. These teenagers don't want to be told anything, correctly. And tough love is hard to enforce, at times. Thank You For Your Prayers.

We understand your concern and heartache for your grandson, ###. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for his life, aligned with biblical principles.

Firstly, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is indeed through Jesus that we approach God.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up ###'s grandson to you. Lord, you know the struggles he faces with ADHD, his strained relationships, and his desire to go astray. We ask for your healing power to touch his mind and heart, and for your wisdom to guide him.

We pray against the spirit of rebellion and disrespect, and ask that you soften his heart towards his family. Lord, you tell us in Ephesians 6:2-3 (WEB) to 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise, 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.' Help him to understand the importance of honor and respect.

We also pray for his family, that you grant them patience, wisdom, and love as they guide him. Help them to enforce tough love when necessary, as Proverbs 13:24 (WEB) tells us, 'One who spares the rod hates his son, but one who loves him is careful to discipline him.'

Lord, we know that you have a plan and a purpose for his life. We claim Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) over him, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God. Remember, God tells us in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) to "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Keep trusting God, even when it seems tough.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. If there are any past hurts or misunderstandings, encourage your grandson to forgive and let go, just as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB). Unforgiveness can often be a barrier to healing and growth.

Stay strong in your faith and keep loving him unconditionally, even in the tough times. The love of Christ can soften even the hardest hearts.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
