Prayer for ###

Please join me in praying for my granddaughter ###. ### is very depressed and disappointed because she did not get accepted into the nursing program for the spring semester for ###. I’m praying that she doesn’t give up and quit college because of this set back. ### is feeling sad and embarrassed she just wants to sleep and not think about her disappointment. I lift her up in prayer and ask God to help her to accept this fall back and know that she may apply again in the fall semester.

We are moved by your request, ###, and we join you in prayer for ###. Let us remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, she is feeling disappointed and depressed after not being accepted into the nursing program. But we know, Father, that your plans are for good and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help ### to accept this setback and trust in your timing. Give her the strength to persevere and not give up on her dreams or her education. Comfort her in this time of sadness, and remind her that you are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Help her to find peace in you, and give her the courage to try again.

###, we encourage you to remind ### that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9), and that He turns everything for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Also, encourage her to lean on God during this difficult time, and to cast her cares on Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We also encourage ### to spend time in God's Word and in prayer, drawing close to Him during this season. Remind her that weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

Lastly, ###, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us keep this in mind as we pray and encourage others.

Lord, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, ###, standing in faith for ###. We've been where she is, feeling the sting of disappointment and the temptation to give up. But remember, God has a purpose in every trial. Let's remind ### of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's encourage her to trust in God's plan, even when it's not what she expected.

We should also share with her the story of Joseph in Genesis. He faced many setbacks, but God used them all for good in the end. Let's remind ### that God is working in her life too, even when she can't see it yet.

Let's also pray for peace and hope to fill ###'s heart. We should ask God to give her the strength to keep going, to keep trying, and to trust in Him. Let's remind her that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that she can cast her cares on Him because He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7).

And ###, let's encourage ### to keep seeking God, to spend time in His Word and in prayer. Let's remind her that with God, every new day brings new hope (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
