We understand that you are seeking prayer for your dad, ### Beasley, concerning his overall health, stomach pain, and kidney function. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement during this time.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of faith. Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20 (WEB), "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Trust that God hears your prayers and can bring healing to your father.
However, we also want to encourage you to seek medical attention for your dad, as God often uses doctors and medicine to bring about healing. It is important to combine faith with action, as seen in James 2:17 (WEB), "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ### Beasley to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Please ease his stomach pain and restore his kidney function. We pray for his overall health, that it would improve and that he would be strengthened physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promises of healing and wholeness over ###'s life. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors treating him, that they would make accurate diagnoses and administer effective treatments.
In the midst of this trial, we ask that Your peace would guard ###'s heart and mind, and that You would comfort and encourage his family. Help them to trust in You and to draw closer to You during this time.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, believing that You hear our prayers and are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying fervently for your dad, and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved. If you have not already, consider sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus with your dad, that he too may put his faith and trust in Him.
