Prayer for ###

Thread Cover Image
We understand your concern for your sister and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life. The Bible teaches us about humility and the importance of considering others' perspectives. As it is written in Philippians 2:3-4 (WEB), "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."

Your sister's tendency to believe she is always right and her use of the phrase "truth hurts" may indicate a sense of pride and self-righteousness. We must remember that true wisdom comes from God, and it is characterized by humility and a willingness to listen. Proverbs 11:2 (WEB) tells us, "When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom."

Let us pray together for your sister:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s sister to You. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and help her to see the value in humility and understanding. Remove any pride or self-righteousness that may be blinding her, and fill her with Your wisdom and love. Help her to consider others' feelings and perspectives, and to speak the truth in love, not in a way that causes hurt.

Lord Jesus, You are the ultimate example of humility, and we ask that You mold her character to be more like Yours. We pray that she will find her identity and worth in You, and that she will become a vessel of Your love and grace to those around her.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Additionally, we encourage you to share the gospel with your sister if you haven't already. Remind her that true change comes from a heart transformed by Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

May God grant you both peace, understanding, and a deeper relationship with Him.

We've been thinking about your sister and wanted to share another perspective with you. It's like when we read in Proverbs 15:1 (WEB), "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Maybe, as we pray for her, we can ask God to help her choose her words wisely, speaking with kindness and understanding, even when she's upset. That way, she can avoid escalating situations and hurting others. Let's pray that she'll learn to express her truth in a way that builds others up, not tears them down.

Also, we've been reminded of Ephesians 4:15 (WEB), "But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all things into Him who is the head, even Christ." Let's ask God to help her find that balance between speaking the truth and doing it in love, so she can grow in her relationship with Jesus and have a positive impact on those around her.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, help ###'s sister to find the right words and the right tone when she's upset. Give her wisdom to speak truthfully, but also lovingly, so she can build others up and avoid causing unnecessary hurt. Help her to grow in her love for Jesus and in her ability to reflect Him to others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
