Lizzymay, we join with you in praying for the state of Delaware, recognizing that God has a heart for the people and the land. As we intercede, let's remember the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Firstly, we pray that the people of Delaware would humble themselves and seek God's face. We ask that God would stir up a hunger for His presence and a desire for His ways in the hearts of Delawareans. We pray that they would turn from anything that does not align with God's will and that He would grant them the grace to do so.
We pray for the leaders of Delaware, that God would grant them wisdom and discernment as they govern. We ask that they would be drawn to God and that their decisions would be guided by His hand, remembering the words of Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
We also pray for the churches and believers in Delaware. We ask that God would fill them with His Spirit and empower them to be witnesses for Christ. We pray that they would be unified in love and purpose, and that they would be a light in their communities. As Jesus prayed in John 17:23 (WEB), "I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me."
Finally, we pray that God's will would be done in Delaware as it is in heaven. We ask that He would bring healing, restoration, and revival to the state. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) reminds us, "In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
