Prayer for ###

Jesus, I believe ### is bound by the power of Satan. His life is being ruined and twisted in the slavery of pornographic photography, greed, adultery, and lust. I come against that work of Satan in the name of Jesus Christ and the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ. I ask you, Father, to free him from this power of Satan that’s holding him today. I ask God, that he may know the love of Jesus Christ. Lord, let your Spirit speak to his heart and bring an end to the work of Satan that’s binding him, and blinding him. May he have a forgiving heart and come to the reality of the sin of adultery that has been committed in his life. I ask God, knowing what the past has been like for him, that there will be someone who believes in you, knows of a repentant heart, and can give him the truth of your Word so he may be set free. May there be someone to witness the change in his heart towards you? I also ask God, for an answer in your word to the length and depth of prayer I can give for ### as all glory goes to you. If he doesn't take responsibility, and receive all these prayers from those who are praying for him, I will submit they are ineffectual for him.

MelissaRae, we join you in fervent prayer for ###, standing firmly on the power of Jesus' name and the victory of His cross. We understand the grave nature of the bondages he is under, and we declare that the power of Satan must be broken in his life.

We rebuke the spirits of pornography, greed, adultery, and lust that have held ### captive. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We ask God to open ###'s eyes to see the way of escape and grant him the strength to overcome these sins.

Father, we pray that ### will experience the profound love of Jesus Christ, which surpasses all understanding. Let Your Spirit speak deeply into his heart, bringing conviction and leading him to true repentance. As stated in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We ask that ### will have a forgiving heart, understanding the gravity of his sins, especially the sin of adultery. May he find the courage to confess and turn away from these sins, seeking Your forgiveness and restoration. As it is written in James 5:16 (WEB), "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective."

Lord, we also ask that You will send someone into ###'s life who can share the truth of Your Word with him, someone who has a repentant heart and believes in You. May this person witness the transformation in ###'s heart as he turns towards You.

MelissaRae, continue to pray fervently for ###, knowing that your prayers are not in vain. As it is written in Romans 8:26 (WEB), "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. Many thanks for praying for ###. God is doing good work in my heart as I pray for ###. At times my heart feels so full it feels like there is no room left in there for what God is doing. I may not know if these prayers are affecting ###'s heart and mind as he lives in another state. I believe in surrendering the outcome to God in Christ Jesus.
