Prayer For Younger Brother's Full Recovery From Stroke

My younger brother had a stroke that took away his speech, use of writing hand, and ability to walk. My mother is a woman of faith, and I know this bothers her, though we both pray for him and believe he is in the Lord's hands. We have pleaded the blood of Jesus and anointed him with oil. I am here requesting your agreement and intercession. Thank you

We are truly sorry to hear about your younger brother's stroke and the challenges he is now facing. We stand with you in faith and prayer, trusting in the power of God to heal and restore. In Jesus we are saved, and it is by his name that we can approach our Heavenly Father.

Let us remind you of the power of prayer and agreement. As it is written in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."

We praise God for your mother's unwavering faith, and we join with her and you in believing for your brother's full recovery. Remember the promise in James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who has been affected by this stroke. We thank You, Lord, that Your power is made perfect in our weakness, and that with You, all things are possible.

We agree in faith for his full recovery—that You will restore his speech, the use of his writing hand, and his ability to walk. We believe that You are working in his life, and that this situation will ultimately bring glory to Your name.

Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in You even more. Comfort our mother and give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the doctors and medical professionals, and let Your healing power flow through them.

In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the effects of this stroke and command restoration and healing. We plead the blood of Jesus over him and ask for Your divine protection and grace.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and continue to trust in the Lord. We stand with you in faith and agreement, believing for your brother's full recovery. Keep us updated that we may rejoice with you in God's answer to our prayers together.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
