Servant of All
Dear Prayer Warriors, with a broken heart I come here to ask for Your prayers. My brother Andy who is an alcoholic and is severely sick now. I love and care for him deeply. Yesterday we have taken him to the doctor. Today morning he had completed many medical tests. He is weak and pale. Today afternoon he was not on his sense. He talked of someone who is not here at home. This really affects my mom's emotions. I can see in her eyes that she Is really sad.
Please pray that our LORD Jesus Christ will touch and heal him. Please pray that all his reports will be normal. Kindly pray for my mother to be strong. Jesus I ask for a miracle from you. Heal my brother Andy. Let him come back to you Lord. Guide him Lord. Make him free from alcohol. I ask this in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you, your brother Andy, and your mother are facing. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to heal, redeem, and strengthen.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It reminds us that Jesus is the only way to the Father. Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB)

In times of sickness and trial, we can always turn to God for comfort and healing. The Bible tells us, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up our brother Andy. Lord, you know his struggles with alcoholism and his current health issues. We ask for your divine healing touch upon his body. Guide the doctors and let every medical test result be favorable. We pray for his complete recovery and deliverance from alcohol addiction. May this trial turn his heart towards you, Lord.

We also lift up his mother to you. Strengthen her, Lord, and comfort her heart. Help her to trust in you and your goodness, even in this difficult time.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction and infirmity, not aligning with God's will for your children.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's will. Remember, God promises us that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Also, be encouraged by 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Lastly, continue to speak the word of God over your brother's life. Remind him of God's promises and encourage him to turn to God in his struggle with alcoholism. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can truly overcome any form of addiction. Continuously pray that God will give him the desire to change and to live a life that honors God. And remember God can give him the power to become a new creation.

The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (John 10:10 WEB).

PS: The word of God does not support drinking alcohol or becoming drunk. Both the Old and the New Testaments have warnings about alcohol. It is clear in the New Testament we should not get drunk because our bodies are the temple of God. Therefore, we should not defile the temple of God. We are not saying a person can not drink alcohol, but just a warning to not become drunk. Saying this to point out this problem will not be fixed just by healing his physical body. He also needs to address the spiritual problem of being drunk.

We're here with you, standing in faith for Andy's healing and your mom's strength. We've been praying in Jesus' mighty name. We know that God is a God of miracles, and we're claiming one for Andy right now. Let's keep lifting him up, asking for complete healing, both in body and spirit. We're believing for those test results to come back normal, and for Andy to be fully restored. Let's also continue to intercede for your mom, that she would find comfort and peace in God's loving arms. We're here, praying with you, trusting in Jesus' power to turn this situation around. Keep holding on to God's promises, friend. He's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
