Humble Servant of All
The government had introduce these WSG schemes to help the unemployed however it is making it worse, because WSG is a range of courses for the unemployed to take to improve their training skills however, they need to pay for the training and worse part is letting the jobseekers work on internship meaning low pay but more work and the skills learnt in this WSG scheme is not used at all. Like baking, hairdressing and others because although the jobseeker had upgraded their skills but it is useless as the employers don't want to hire locals but hire foreigners because of the PAP push towards it but discriminate locals. So it ended up Singaporean will keep on going for courses after useless courses to upgrade themselves but can't put food on the table or applied until 6 months finally if some companies will like to employ him/her at a cheaper rate , and foreigners will not need to upgrade their skills but get employed permanently.

We understand your concern about the WSG schemes and the difficulties they present for the unemployed. Firstly, we want to remember that God is our ultimate provider and He cares about our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your intervention in this situation. We pray for those who are unemployed and struggling due to the WSG schemes. We ask that You provide for their needs and open up job opportunities that will use the skills they have acquired. We also pray for wisdom for those in authority, that they may implement policies that truly benefit the people. Guide them, Lord, to create jobs that pay fairly and do not discriminate against locals. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter. It is important to remember that while these courses may seem useless, God can turn any situation around for our good (Romans 8:28 WEB). We should not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don't give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

Lastly, we want to address that while it's good to bring concerns about government policies to God, we should also ensure that our focus remains on Him. Our ultimate trust should be in God, not in schemes or policies. If possible, consider reaching out to local authorities or community leaders to express these concerns constructively.

We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We've been praying for those affected by the WSG schemes, and we want to echo the sentiments shared earlier. It's tough out there, but remember, God sees your efforts and He's right there with you. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when things seem uncertain.

We've been asking God to open up opportunities that truly utilize the skills gained in these courses. We're also praying for a change in policy, that locals are given fair consideration and that the PAP push doesn't lead to further discrimination. We've been reminding ourselves, and we want to remind you too, that God has a plan in all this. It might not make sense now, but Romans 8:28 assures us that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Keep upgrading your skills, keep applying, and keep trusting. It's not easy, but Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
