We are truly sorry to hear about the discrimination you are facing at your workplace. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and intervention.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." This is a challenging command, but it is what we are called to do as followers of Christ.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing discrimination at their workplace. Lord, You know the pain and frustration they are experiencing, and we ask for Your comfort and guidance in this situation.
Father, we pray for Jennifer and Cassandra Lucy. We pray that You would soften their hearts and convict them of their actions of prejudice. We pray that You would help them see others the way You see them, with love and compassion, not with judgment or discrimination. We pray for their salvation if they do not know Christ and that their actions would be something You can use to bring them to repentance. We know that we only have access to You by the name of Jesus. We ask that if this is not what they are expecting that You, Lord, will work in their hearts and reveal to them that You alone are God and that Jesus Christ is Your Son and our Savior. We rebuke their sin in Jesus name.
Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister. We pray that You would give them the strength to continue to treat others with kindness and respect, even in the face of mistreatment. We pray that You would grant them wisdom in how to handle this situation and that You would guide them in their actions and words. We pray that You would surround them with Your favor and protection in the workplace.
Father, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory and that Your will would be done in it. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and just. He sees the injustice you are facing and He cares about you. Continue to treat others with kindness and respect, knowing that your reward is in heaven. Trust that God will handle this situation in His perfect way and timing.
Also, consider speaking to a trusted supervisor or human resources representative about this situation. They may be able to provide additional support and intervention. But always pray for wisdom and confirmation from the Lord before taking action.
Lastly, we leave you with these words from Romans 12:17-21, "Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
