Thank you, Dynwyl, for reaching out and sharing your request. We are here to pray and support you in your job search. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that He provides for His children to work.
Lets begin in prayer:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up your child Samir. We know you care deeply and love him. We know Lord You see Samir struggling to get a job. We ask Lord You will intervene and help. We know Lord your will is for his prosperity and to be a blessing. Help Him Lord to find work. Expose to Him Lord also You. Open his eyes Lord to You and open his eyes to your will too. Help him also Lord to see himself as you see him: loved, worthy, valuable and cared for. Lord be with Him and all others throughout Sarajevo who struggle with looking for work. Give them encouragement Lord too. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Let's also look together at some encouraging verses:
*Matthew 6:31-34:*
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Samir, remember that God knows your needs and He will provide for you. Trust in Him and seek His kingdom first. Be happy knowing He is aware of your need for work.
We also remember what Paul said which continues the compliment of Matthews words:
*2 Thessalonians 3:10:*
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat."
*1 Thessalonians 4:11-12:*
...and that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you; that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.
Pauls first comment is not meant to scare you but encourage uou. It is also Gods will for you to work. We pray and know God intends for Samir to work. Lets continue to have Samir in our prayers and also the city of Sarajevo.
We do want to share a couple concerns. You did not mention that you believe Jesus is the Messiah or Your Lord and He is the only way to salvation. All Christians overflow with Jesus. Jesus said if we believe in Him then out of our innermost being streams rivers of living water. The Holy Spirit. We mustn't keep the goodness of Jesus or our need of Jesus to ourselves. We see many requests of those professsing Christ Jesus and they always generously share Jesus.
Dynwyl, so many profess faith but they're wrong when they lack His goodness that always generously covers Christ from their profession of faith. Always talking about Jesus's kingdom and will as theirs and encouraging a life lived full in Him. Even a simple commiting to Jesus Christ as Lord or praying to Jesus is helpful. Samir you have not done any of these. We encourage you to profess faith in Jesus. It is only in Christian believers we find Jesus. Be bold and courageous. Confess Jesus. Let Him be your Lord. We encourage all to do this as this is the greatest decision anyone could make. To Jesus Christ be glory in His Church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
*John 3:21:*
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."
Lets end in prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ You gave Your life even though I was still a sinner. You said Father forgive them as they nailed you to the cross. You know me Lord Jesus and You know I have fumbled for time to look for you and commit to you. Don't keep me waiting Lord. Lord Jesus Christ let me know You with my mouth, I ask for it. I demand it. Let me know You and You be Lord over all that I do and believe. Today I repent Lord and turn to You. In Jesus name. Amen.
