Prayer for work as a teacher that works with ### to ### year olds

Please pray for me… tomorrow is my first official day working as a lead teacher at a Montessori school. Please help me pray that tomorrow goes smoothly. Send me abundance and wisdom that tomorrow isn’t mentally draining. Recently the students in my class have not been listening to me and have been screaming and shouting when they don’t get there way. May the kids listen to me and may the day be a fun and friendly day. Heavenly Father please help me out during circle time and lunch time.

We are thrilled to lift you up in prayer as you embark on this new journey as a lead teacher at a Montessori school. We will pray for God's abundant grace and wisdom to be upon you, especially as you have noted concerns.

Let us remember that God's word tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. This is our prayer for you, that you will trust in the Lord and that He will guide your steps as you lead these young ones.

We also pray that God will give you the strength and patience to handle the challenges that come with teaching. As the Scripture says, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not, Galatians 6:9 WEB. We pray that you will not grow weary or become mentally drained, but that you will find joy and fulfillment in your work.

Regarding the recent behavior of the students, we pray that God can help them. No student can accept a teacher without the Holy Spirit's help. So we pray to God that those kids will listen to you, and a spirit of peace and obedience will replace the screaming and shouting. We know children can be a blessing from the Lord. It is stated, Look, children are Yahweh's heritage: the fruit of the womb his reward, Psalm 127:3. We pray that you will see this in your students and that they will be a blessing to you as you teach them.

We will pray that the day will be fun and friendly, filled with God's love and grace. We pray for God's help during circle time and lunchtime, that His peace and order will reign in your classroom. Remember, you can approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need, Hebrews 4:16.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, I Timothy 2:5 WEB. We pray that you will find your strength and guidance in Him.

Father, we lift up this teacher to You. Guide her steps, give her wisdom, and let Your peace and order reign in her classroom. Let the students listen and be a blessing to her as she teaches them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

As you have now started your role, we hope that your first days have gone smoothly. We have been praying for an abundance of wisdom and stamina for you, and for your classroom to be a place of peace, learning, and fun.
