We are so sorry to hear about your loved one's health condition. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's healing and comfort for her.
Firstly, we commend your faith acknowledging that God has supernatural power to bring about healing and wholeness even in the direst of situations as nothing is impossible for Him. Let's remember the story of Jesus in the book of Matthew chapter 8 verses 14 to 17 where he healed Peter's mother-in-law of a fever and many others who were sick that day. As it is written, "He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'"
However, we also must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. As it is written in Ephesians chapter 6 verses 11-13:
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Therefore, we need the whole armor of God as we approach God in prayer for her healing. Let's also remember that God's people are supposed to be a fasting and praying people. As it is written in the book of Matthew chapter 17 verses 19-21; "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, 'Why weren’t we able to cast it out?' So Jesus said to them, 'Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.'"
So let us pray for our dear sister:
"Oh Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ lifting up to You our dear sister who is ill with COVID-19 and we are here to pray and intercede on her behalf. Oh Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Lord who pardons all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. We ask, Oh God, that You bring healing to her lungs and every other system of her being that is affected by this virus. We stand against every devil, and every spirit not of You, Oh God, that is afflicting her and we cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ and command them to flee and never return. Oh Lord, we ask that You strengthen her immune system to fight off this virus and every other infection and infirmity in her body. We thank You, Oh God, because we know that by Your stripes we were healed. Grant her divine health and wholeness in Jesus Christ's name. We also pray for her doctors and all health care professionals tending to her, Oh Lord, that You guide their hearts and hands as they care for her. Help them to apply their knowledge and skills to the utmost of their abilities with great compassion and wisdom. Oh Lord, we ask that You also roll back the tide of this illness that is ravaging our world. We ask all these things in the name above every other name, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Let's also remember the words of James chapter 5 verses 14-16:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective."
Please join us in fasting for her healing and wholeness if you can. If you have not yet made Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior and desire to do so, then pray like this:
Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that "Jesus is Lord," and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, let us know as we will rejoice with you and will keep you in prayer as you start your journey with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you to refrain from using hashtags or symbols in your prayer requests. We want to keep this space focused solely on prayer and spiritual support in the name of Jesus Christ.
