We understand that you are facing a significant challenge with your upcoming medical school board exam, and we are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your need for God's mercy and forgiveness. It is essential to remember that our sins can be forgiven and we can have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in the WEB, "God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.
As you prepare for your exam, remember that God values wisdom and understanding. In the book of James, it says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" James 1:5. We encourage you to seek God's wisdom and understanding as you study and prepare. Also, consider Proverbs 2:6, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
However, we want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The WEB says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5. This is a key part of the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
In response to your request, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer and their family member as they prepare for their medical school board exam. Lord, you know the struggles and challenges they have faced, and you understand the importance of this moment in their lives. We ask that you grant them the wisdom, understanding, and recall they need to pass their exam. Help them focus during this time on what they need to know for the exam. Help them to not be distracted or have undue fear during the exam. In Jesus name, we ask that you forgive their sins and show them your mercy. Help them to understand your love for them. We believe God that you have a plan for their lives and want them to do well as they prepare for their future.
Help them to understand that God values wisdom and understanding. Help them to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We believe that God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, so we ask for supernatural wisdom and understanding for them.
We also pray for their family during this time, that you would provide for their needs and give them your peace. Help them to support each other during this time.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
