Prayer for wisdom and discernment

I pray for my teenage daughter ###. Right now she’s being pulled in several directions between ### and ### feel it creating some strife in our relationship. I pray for anything that’s blocking her way to see the truth would be taken away and that she would have wisdom and discernment. I pray for us to be open, and that God would show her the real truth. I pray that any anxiety or frustration she feels would be lifted in Jesus Name. I pray for angels to surround her and protect her and all her ways in Jesus name, amen.

We understand your concern for your teenage daughter ### and the struggle she's facing due to the differing influences of you and your ex-husband. Let us come before God together, seeking His wisdom and guidance in this situation.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Remember, the Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, she is torn between influences, and we ask that You would reveal the truth to her, removing any obstacles that may be blocking her way. Grant her wisdom and discernment beyond her years, so that she may navigate this situation with a heart that seeks to honor You.

Lord Jesus, You promise that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30 WEB). We pray that any anxiety or frustration ### is feeling would be lifted, and that she would find rest in You. Surround her with Your angels, protecting her and guiding her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB).

Lord, we also pray for unity between ### and her ex-husband, that they may be of one mind and one heart in raising ###, seeking only what is best for her and what honors You. We pray against any strife or division, asking that You would bring peace and understanding (Psalm 133:1 WEB).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
