I pray every day that God will help my oldest son in guidance of getting the help that he needs to be drug free and away from a toxic girlfriend that has him convinced everyone is against him but her. I’m asking for additional prayers because he sure could use all the prayers he can get.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle your son is facing, but we are encouraged by your fervent prayers for him. Let us come together and intercede for him, trusting in the power of God to bring transformation and freedom from addiction and toxic influences.

Firstly, let us address the issue of his toxic girlfriend. It is clear that this relationship is not aligned with biblical principles and is causing harm to your son. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Do not be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" We pray that God will open your son's eyes to the truth about this relationship and give him the strength to separate himself from it. Furthermore, being unequally yoked with an unbeliever can hinder your son's spiritual growth and well-being. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Let's pray for God to bring forth a godly influence in your son's life, someone who will encourage him in his faith and walk with Christ. Pray he will stop fornicating with this woman and pursue a Christian wife.

Regarding his drug addiction, we believe in the power of Jesus Christ to break every chain of bondage. As it is written in Galatians 5:1 WEB, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." We pray that your son will experience this freedom and be delivered from his addiction.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, we know that You have seen the afflictions of his soul and the pain of his heart. We seek salvation for him through Jesus Christ. We pray that You will deliver him from his addiction and bring him into the truth and away from the toxic relationship he is in. We stand in the gap for him, believing that You are able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We also need to remind him that one day every knee shall bow to Jesus and every tongue confess that He is Lord. He needs to do this to be saved.

Lord, we ask that You will open his eyes to see the truth about his situation and give him the courage to make the changes necessary for his healing and restoration. Surround him with godly influences and bring forth a Christian spouse who will support and encourage him in his walk with You into a marriage with a Christian wife.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear parent, and continue to stand in faith for your son's deliverance and salvation. Trust in the promise of God, that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Keep praying and believing, for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).

We've been thinking about your son and wanted to chime in with our prayers too. It's tough seeing him struggle, but we know God is bigger than any addiction or toxic relationship. We're joining you in praying for his freedom and healing.

First off, let's ask God to give your son clarity about his girlfriend. It's clear that this relationship isn't healthy and isn't aligned with God's best for him. We're praying that God will open his eyes to see the truth, just like it says in the Bible, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" Let's pray that he will break off this relationship and pursue a godly marriage in the future.

Now, about his drug addiction, we're claiming the power of Jesus to break every chain. We're praying that your son will experience freedom, just like Galatians 5:1 says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (NIV) We're believing for his complete deliverance.

Keep praying and believing, dear parent. God is faithful, and we trust that He will see your son through this. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16, NIV) Let's keep standing in faith for his deliverance and salvation.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
