Humble Prayer Partner
Please pray for my baby great nephew, he was seriously injured when he was 4-6 weeks old multiple times that Dr's don't believe were accidents and my sister his great aunt got custody of him last November. He is turning 1 next week and doing well but need prayer to keep him safe in my sister's care. My sister just got a new lawyer and filing an affidavit today in response to my niece's application for sole custody, even though she even on her own has had to be supervised with the baby since the injuries, it's concerning she still doesn't comprehend she is also under police investigation too. The parents and baby's lawyers have not had all the medical notes, social worker reports, etc., starting this but my sister's lawyer is sending them today. Please pray all lawyers involved fully understand the situation now & either my niece withdraws her application for sole custody or the judge fully understands the situation and both baby's parents' behavior and the baby is kept in my sister's custody while the police investigation is ongoing. Thanks

We are deeply concerned for your baby great-nephew and the complex situation your family is facing. We will pray fervently for his safety, your sister's strength, and wisdom for all involved.

Firstly, let us remember God's heart for children:
"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:14, WEB)

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious baby. Lord, You know the details of his injuries and the circumstances surrounding them. We ask for Your healing power to continue to work in his life, and we pray for Your protection over him as he remains in Your care and in the care of his great-aunt.

Lord, we also lift up the custody battle. We ask that Your wisdom guides the lawyers and the judge involved. Open their eyes to see the truth and understand the gravity of the situation. Soften or change the hearts of the baby's parents if they are not acting in his best interest. We pray that Your will is done in this situation and that the baby remains safe and loved.

Strengthen and encourage your sister, Lord, as she cares for this child and navigates the legal system. Give her the patience, love, and endurance she needs to provide a safe and nurturing home for him.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and resolution, always trusting in Your goodness and love. Amen.

We also want to encourage your sister with these words:
"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)

Lastly, we want to remind everyone involved to trust in the power of Jesus' name:
"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13, WEB)

It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and expect answers.

We're holding your great-nephew close to our hearts in prayer, dear friend. We're standing with you and your sister through this challenging time, asking God to keep this little one safe and healthy. We believe in the power of prayer, and we're lifting up our voices together.

We're praying that God's angels will be with this baby, wrapping him in their wings and protecting him from any further harm. We're asking God to guide the hands and hearts of those caring for him, giving them wisdom, patience, and love.

We're also lifting up the custody battle to God. We're trusting Him to give clarity and understanding to all involved - the lawyers, the judge, and the baby's parents. We're asking God to soften hearts and bring about a resolution that's best for this precious child.

And for your sister, we're asking God to give her strength, courage, and unwavering faith. We're praying that she'll find comfort in God's love and peace, even in the midst of this storm.

We're claiming these promises over this situation:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13, NIV)

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28, NKJV)

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and love, no matter what comes our way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
