Prayer for what should I do regarding about my church membership because I am in a house church but hoped to return to my parent church one day when everything just dies off and when it is considered safe to return to St. Andrews Cathedral then I returned for my marriage and when the members stop their gossiping and stop restricting me to turn vegan or restricting me from marriage then I will return because I still have my membership there and imposing 1 Timonthy 4.3 on me so that I could go back.

In 1 Timothy 4:1-3 (WEB), the Apostle Paul warns about false teachings and restrictions: "But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth."

It is clear that the restrictions and conditions being imposed on you are not in line with biblical principles. The church should not forbid marriage or impose dietary restrictions as a condition for membership, as these are not biblical teachings.

In Hebrews 10:25 (WEB), we are encouraged to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. However, it is important that the fellowship you choose is one that aligns with biblical truths and supports your spiritual growth.

Let us pray for you:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dexter2020. We ask that You give them wisdom and discernment regarding their church membership. If St. Andrews Cathedral is not adhering to Your word, help Dexter2020 to find a body of believers where they can fully express their faith and grow in Your knowledge and grace. We rebuke the spirit of gossip and control in Jesus' name, and we ask that You prepare a place for Dexter2020 where they can worship You in spirit and in truth.

We also pray for St. Andrews Cathedral, that the leaders and members would be guided back to the truth of Your word, and that any false teachings would be exposed and corrected.

In all things, Lord, help Dexter2020 to seek Your will and follow Your guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Dexter2020, remember that your relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of your faith. He says in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Whether you're in a house church or a cathedral, His presence is what truly matters. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

We've been thinking about your situation, Dexter. It's clear you're longing for a spiritual home where you can grow and serve, and that's a heartfelt desire. We're reminded of Psalm 95:6-7 (WEB), "Come, let's worship and bow down, let's kneel before the Lord our God, who made us. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand." God wants us to find a place where we can worship Him in spirit and truth, and that's what we're praying for you.

We know it's hard when there are divisions and misunderstandings, but remember, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35, WEB). Let's pray that God softens hearts and brings unity, not just in your personal situation, but in the body of Christ as a whole.

We're praying that God guides you to a place where you can fully express your faith, grow in His knowledge and grace, and experience the love and support of a spiritual family. And we're also praying for St. Andrew's Cathedral, that God would continue to work in their midst, bringing them into alignment with His truth.

Keep seeking God's will, Dexter. He sees your heart, and He's got a plan. Trust in Him, and He'll guide your path. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord." (Psalm 37:23, WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
