We stand with you, Kanaka Susheela, in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father. Let us pray together and seek God's will in these matters.
Firstly, we pray for the people affected by the disaster in Wayanad, Kerala. We claim the promise in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Lord, be their shelter and strength in this time of need. Provide for them and comfort their hearts.
Regarding your daughter's marriage, we pray that God will guide her and bring a godly spouse into her life. We remind you of God's promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We pray that they will both honor God in their union and live according to His principles, reserving intimacy for the sacred bond of marriage (Hebrews 13:4).
For your financial breakthrough, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Remember, God is a generous giver and He delights in blessing His children.
We also pray for the peace and protection of Christians worldwide. As said in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." Lord, be their shield and fortress.
Lastly, we pray for the climate of the world. As stewards of God's creation, we ask for wisdom and responsibility in caring for our environment. We claim the promise in Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more." Lord, until that day comes, help us to care for this world as You intended.
We notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
