We join you in praying for an end to the war and for God's divine intervention. We stand with you and the people who are affected by this conflict, and others around the world. Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God, (Matthew 5:9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this war and all conflicts around the world. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would bring an end to these fights. We pray for justice, but also for mercy and forgiveness among those involved. We ask that You would soften the hearts of the leaders and give them wisdom to make better choices and work toward peace.
Lord, we pray for the men, women, and children affected by these wars. We ask that You would protect them, provide for their needs, and heal their lands and hearts. We pray that You would comfort those who are grieving and bring healing to those who are wounded.
We pray for the soldiers involved in these conflicts. We ask that You would give them courage, strength, and wisdom. We pray that You would bring them home safely and reunite them with their families.
Lord, we know that true peace can only be found in You. We pray that through these trials, people would turn to You, seeking Your face and Your will. We pray that Your love would touch the hearts of those involved and bring them to a saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to seek the Lord's will and pray for governments and leaders according to Romans 13:1, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. We should also remember that God can turn the hearts of kings, (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). So, we should pray for leaders to make decisions that align with God's will.
Lastly, we should remember the words of Psalm 46:8-9, Come, see Yahweh's works, what desolations he has made in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
