Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the sacred institution of marriage. Thank You, Lord, for the blessing of companionship and the opportunity to grow together in love and faith. As we lift up ###'s prayer request, we ask for Your divine intervention in bringing unity to this marriage.
Father, Your Word reminds us in Ecclesiastes 4:12 that "a cord of three strands is not quickly broken." We pray that You would be the third strand in this marriage, binding ### and their spouse together with Your love and strength. Help them to face challenges as a united team, not as adversaries, but as partners who stand firm together.
Grant them Your eyes to see each other with love and forgiveness, as You have forgiven us. Colossians 3:13 teaches us to "bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." May this spirit of forgiveness permeate their hearts and home.
Guide ### and their spouse in making choices that honor You and strengthen their relationship. Help them to focus on the best in each other, as Philippians 4:8 encourages us to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. May they uplift and encourage one another daily.
We pray for a deeper intimacy and connection, and for hearts that are eager to serve one another selflessly, as Christ served us. Ephesians 5:21 reminds us to "submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." May this mutual submission and love be evident in every aspect of their marriage.
Lord, we ask for Your restoration and blessing upon ###'s marriage. May they celebrate many more anniversaries together, filled with joy, love, and Your divine favor. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
