We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing unequal treatment from a presumptuous boss. Let's begin by praying and seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we are reminded of what God's Word says about our treatment by others and how we should respond. In First Peter 2:18-20:
Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the unjust. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.
It's important to understand that God sees what is happening and He cares. We should strive to maintain a good attitude even in difficult situations, as this can be a testimony to those around us.
Regarding the unequal treatment, we should remember to be quick to listen and slow to speak. In James 1:19-20:
So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, laying before you the situation of unequal treatment and presumptuous attitude faced by our dear friend. We pray that You would intervene and change the heart of their boss. We ask that You would grant wisdom and discernment to our friend, so that they may respond in a way that honors You. Help them to remain patient and steadfast, even in the face of adversity.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of this boss. If they do not know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them, that they may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would soften their heart and make them receptive to Your love and grace.
We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we may have life and have it more abundantly, Amen.
In the meantime, continue to do your job to the best of your ability, as if you were serving the Lord Himself. Remember Colossians 3:23-24:
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
