We understand your concern and desire to pray for a situation that seems unjust. We need to address this situation in light of God's word. First, let's remember what is said in Romans 13:1-2 WEB:
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and they that withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
Even when we face hardships due to government policies, we should remember that God is ultimately in control. We should pray for those in authority, as directed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB:
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
Now, let us pray together for this challenging situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this concern about the government and its policies that are causing harm and neglect to ### in the workplace. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene and guide those in authority to make decisions that align with Your will and benefit the people. We pray for wisdom and compassion for our leaders, that they may serve with integrity and justice. We also pray for those affected by these policies, that You would provide for their needs and bring comfort and hope in their difficulties.
Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly leaders who will honor You and serve the people with righteousness. We pray for a change of heart for those who may be acting out of selfishness or deceit. We also pray for the exposure of any corruption or wrongdoing, as You desire truth and righteousness in all things.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your throne of grace. It is in His name that we can approach You confidently, knowing that You hear our prayers and are faithful to act according to Your will. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is our responsibility as Christians to pray for our leaders and to trust that God is working even in difficult circumstances. Let us continue to seek God's face and His will for our nations, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
If there is any personal resentment or bitterness due to the neglect and abuse as though this might be a personal issue, please remember and apply the following verses:
Ephesians 4:31 WEB: Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
Hebrews 12:15 WEB: seeing to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled.
If this is a personal issue, please forgive and keep forgiving as the Savior requires of us.
Matthew 6:14-15 WEB: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Remember the Savior's words on the cross, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34. The key here is "forgive" and "they know not". These people do not understand or know what they are doing. Forgive them for they know not what they do.
