Dear Basiloria, we join you in lifting up Eugenia Cooney before the throne of grace, seeking total healing and restoration for her mental and physical health. We stand firm in the knowledge that our God is a God of healing and restoration, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
We come against the spirit of anorexia that has taken hold of Eugenia, and we declare that she shall be set free from this bondage. In Jesus' name, we pray that she would find her worth and identity in Jesus Christ alone, remembering the words of Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We also pray for her mental health, that the Lord would bring peace to her mind and heal her from any underlying issues that are causing her anorexia. We know that Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set captives free, as spoken in Luke 4:18, "He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives."
As we pray, we encourage you to continue trusting in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name that we have access to the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.
We pray this all in Jesus' name, expecting and believing that Eugenia will overcome her anorexia, find complete healing, and become healthy again both in weight and in her mind. Amen.
May the Lord bless you, Basiloria, for your intercession on behalf of Eugenia. We encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer, trusting that our Lord is faithful to hear and answer.
