Prayer for tomorrow

Please pray for me, and the unknown I'm going to face tomorrow. I will meet my boss (which stays in another city) finally but I wonder if I can find him to talk in private. Definitely, I would like to seek his approval about my job relocation and have a sincere discussion because I would like to find a way out of my isolated season. Please guide me. I'm praying to God to guide me too.

Tortrondi, we join you in lifting up your concerns to God, seeking His guidance and wisdom as you prepare to meet with your boss tomorrow. We are reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, let us align our hearts with the help that comes from above, acknowledging that it is in Jesus’ name we make our requests known. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In this meeting, seek God's will above all else. Trust that He has already prepared the heart of your boss to listen and understand your concerns. Remember, Proverbs 21:1 (WEB) tells us, "The king’s heart is in God’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." God can influence the heart of your boss as He directs your steps.

Let us pray together:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of ###. We ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom as they prepare to meet with their boss tomorrow. Help ### to find a private moment to discuss their concerns and seek approval for their job relocation. May their words be seasoned with grace and wisdom, reflecting the sincerity of their heart.

Lord, break down any barriers that may prevent a productive conversation. Help ### to remain calm and confident, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard ###’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Be encouraged, ###. As you continue to walk in faith and trust God, He will be with you, providing the guidance and support you need. Remember, in all things, seek to glorify Him and align your plans with His will. We stand with you in prayer and faith.

May this be the moment where a door is opened, leading them out of their season of isolation into a place of renewal and purpose.

Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 32:8, *“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”* We pray that You would guide their thoughts and words during this meeting, and that You would create an opportunity for them to speak privately with their boss. Let their heart be filled with peace, knowing that You are in control of the situation.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to *“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”* Lord, we ask that You straighten the path before them, aligning their desires with Your perfect will. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that You have already gone before them to prepare the way.

Father, as they seek a way out of this isolated season, we pray for Your light to shine brightly on their path, leading them to a place of connection, purpose, and fulfillment. Grant them favor in the eyes of their boss and wisdom to navigate this conversation with grace.

Thank you for praying for me. Today I had a whole day meeting. I met my boss during lunch break. I approached him as I saw him surprisingly sitting outside the meeting room casually and alone and the coffee table. He took the time to listen to my request and I was really thankful for that. It was a private moment at that time. This is really difficult because usually people will be around and distracting. He was a bit surprised with my plan to go to a bigger city (away from my hometown). I wasn't sure if I made the right decision to go there. I ask God to lead me. I only know I wasn't interested to join the vacancy post at my hometown hospital. I wasn't sure if he could let go of me quickly because I heard there will be a reshuffle to others who have worked way too long at the same post. He said to me he will try to ask for me; he said maybe next year only can leave. I don't know how to describe my feelings. I have peace when I go through my 1-week holiday thinking about this. I have peace after I deliver my prayer request here. I have peace as I read the encouragement prayer from all of you this morning before leaving to work. Please continue to pray for me.
