We understand that you're feeling anxious about your workday and we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your time at work. Let's turn to God's Word for encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus. As it is only through Him that we can approach God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
When it comes to dealing with difficult coworkers, Jesus said
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This doesn't mean that you should tolerate disrespect or unfair treatment, but rather that you should maintain a heart of love and forgiveness, just as Jesus did.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling anxious about their workday. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We pray for their coworkers, that they would be respectful and kind. We ask that You would bless this workplace and create an environment of harmony and productivity. If there are any difficult individuals, we pray that You would soften their hearts and help our brother in Christ to respond with love and forgiveness.
Bless their job and help them to work as working for you Lord and not man.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
