We understand that you are seeking prayer for a loved one to be cleared of all negativity and to return home soon. Firstly, we want to address that you did not specifically mention Jesus Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN. Remember, It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Make sure you are praying in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved individual who has wandered away from you and from home. We pray that you will remove all negativity from their life, whether it is sin, bad influences, or harmful thoughts. We rebuke your enemy Satan, and claim the victory of Jesus Christ over all evil.
Father, we ask that you will work in this person's heart, drawing them back to you and to their home. We pray that they will return safely and that their life will be restored and used for your glory. We claim your promises from the book of Joel, where you say, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" Joel 2:25 WEB.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that you will fill them with peace, patience, and hope as they wait for their loved one to return. We ask that you will bless their relationship and use this circumstance to bring both of them closer to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray for forgiveness, restoration, and a new beginning. We trust in your goodness and your power to bring this loved one back home. Amen.
Remember, God's word tells us in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should reach repentance" WEB. Hold on to this promise as you wait and pray for your loved one. Continue to trust in God, and do not give up hoping and believing for their return.
