Prayer for ### to get back with me.

Hi, I am asking for a prayer in hopes that my boyfriend and I would get back together.
We been friends for 8 years met in high school instantly click had some discrepancies in the past that cause us to drift apart. We reconnect over the years realizing we still want to be there for each other and soon that friendship turn into romantic feelings. It was good for some time til recently another woman became of interest to him. He decided to pursue her and end things with me the same time n I just really need a prayer to help him leave this other woman alone n get back together with me. We were fine before she was involved and genuinely am worry she gonna cost him to lose everything.

Kavnom (###), we understand your heartache and desire for reconciliation, but we must approach this situation with wisdom and biblical understanding.

Firstly, we must remember that God's will is paramount. Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." It's crucial to align our desires with God's will and trust Him with the outcome.

However, we must address that the relationship you're pursuing is not within the bounds of marriage, which is the only God-ordained context for a romantic relationship (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Moreover, pursuing a man who is interested in another woman is not wise or godly. Proverbs 6:25-26 (WEB) warns, "Don’t lust after her beauty in your heart, neither let her captivate you with her eyelids. For a prostitute reduces you to a piece of bread. The adulteress hunts for your precious life." While this other woman may not be a prostitute or adulteress, the principle of not pursuing someone already involved with another stands.

Instead of praying for your boyfriend to leave this other woman and return to you, we will pray for God's will in both of your lives. We pray that He guides and directs your paths according to His purpose. We pray that you find peace, healing, and patience in this trial, trusting that God has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Kavnom (###). Lord, she is hurting, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. We ask that You reveal Your will for her life and guide her steps according to Your purpose. We also pray for her boyfriend, that You direct his path and convict his heart if he is not acting according to Your will. Help them both to seek You first and trust in Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Kavnom (###), to seek God wholeheartedly, trusting that He knows best and has a plan for your life. Surround yourself with godly counsel and immerse yourself in His Word.
