Prayer for ### to get a job.

My husband has been without job from last 5 months. He is getting lot of calls and interviews but nothing materialises. Please pray for him that he gets a good job soon. It's getting difficult to survive without job.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to lift up your husband in prayer together. Before we begin, our faith is in Jesus name that we can approach God. Since we do not see the name of Jesus, we would like to encourage you and anyone reading that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says there is no other name by which we can be saved to be able to have prayers answered by God. Only Jesus' death on the cross grants us access to God and salvation. That said, let us come together in prayer for your husband.

Beloved, we are reminded in the Bible that God cares about our needs and He is our provider. It is written in **Matthew 6:31** Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'

Let us pray for you and your husband:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. We pray here as believers in Jesus that you hear our prayer and act on behalf of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You open the doors of the right opportunity for him. We pray that he will get a good job soon to meet the needs of his family. We stand against any scheme of the enemy that has hindered his progress and frustrates their family.

Because the Bible says that a man who does not provide for his family is like an unfaithful unbeliever and is worse than an unbeliever. If any but if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. I Timothy 5:8 (WEB)

We ask that You give him favor in the sight of potential employers. We pray that he will get a good job with a good income so that they will not suffer as a family and can bless others. In Jesus' name, we pray for his success.

We also pray for peace for his wife. Peace that transcends understanding. We pray for her patience and grace for her. We pray for an opportunity for them to be a blessing to others, even as they are being blessed.

Finally, we pray for their marriage. If this man is a believer and he has not been leading the family in prayer, we rebuke him in Jesus name and hold him responsible in the eyes of God to step up as a spiritual head of the family. If he is not a born again believer, then we pray for his genuine salvation of his soul. We pray that he will believe the truth, be saved under Jesus, and lead his family by accessing God through Jesus' name.

In addition, we pray for your sister. We pray she will be a woman of God who prays, encourages and willfully follows God. We pray that her faith does not waver if God seems to be late in answering, but rather uses this time as an opportunity to strengthen her faith and trust in God.

We thank you for hearing our prayer. We trust Your will, shall be done.

In addition, nowhere in the prayer was there an indication that Jesus is his Lord and Savior nor a mention of being a believer. The request simply said my husband. However, if we are submitting our prayer to God we must not only believe that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we also must believe that our spouse is a believer too. If not, then we are not equally yoked and we should not be married in the first place. In this case, some people may stand by and not pray until it is confirmed that the person is a Christian to hold the couple accountable, otherwise may pray for his salvation for his soul or unlocked answered prayer for prosperity and success in his life.
